What's in my camera bag?

The following items are a few must have products that I carry with me for a session and/or the minimum for a wedding. The most important thing is to have backups. That’s why I like to have three camera bodies with me, a few lenses and a couple flashes. Feel free to email me if you have any specific questions.

Also, here are a couple of links to the programs I use with a discount code!

First of all, this is the camera bag I use! My favorite feature of the Peak Design Everyday pack is the side openings. I can quickly get in an out, while the backpack is still on me.

I have three D750’s. I absolutely love this camera body! I’ve been using it for a while and haven’t had a reason to upgrade it. The plan is to eventually move to a mirrorless system, simply because I want a lighter camera body. However, I’m still swooning over the images this helps me create.

I use this lens 70% of the time. Love this focal length! I think a focal length of 35mm is the perfect storytelling lens.

I also purchased a 70-200 from Sigma and LOVE it.

I use this lens about 20% of the time and I love it! Every time I shoot with it, I’m reminded that I need to use it more.

If you’re just starting, I recommend this lens. It’s super cheap and gives you a maximum aperture of 1.8.

I have a ton of these cards! Probably around 20. They all range from 32GB-128GB.

I’m a huge advocate of backing up images. I use these external drives to do so.

A couple of these flashes! Can not recommend these enough. BUY. BUY. BUY. Get two so you can practice your OCF.

I’ve used this case before! It’s perfect if you’re going to be in the water. I’m super paranoid and I just used it during a kayak session.

I mostly work at a coworking space but once in a while, I’ll bring my computer home. I use this case to keep it safe.

I use a MeFOTO Aluminum Travel Tripod. There’s different options, so make sure you choose the one that works best for you.
