I love people watching almost as much as I love dramatic lighting.
I notice the quiet moments. A smile. A deep breath. And I’m just as drawn to the chaos that unfolds as the day goes on. The laughter, the movement, the lived in details, friends staying late on the dance floor.
I’m drawn to emotion filled scenes and often get bursts of inspiration as light shapes a moment. My approach naturally moves between documentary storytelling and relaxed editorial portraits.
With over a decade of experience photographing weddings, my work has been featured in more than 25 publications and several news outlets. During the off season, I facilitate photography classes.
Outside of work, my life reflects the way I photograph. I am drawn to both stillness and motion, slowing down in one moment and chasing movement the next, often rock climbing in the Sierras.
