Amber and Ben made it official on September 16th…yes it was a Monday!! I’m a sucker for weekday weddings. Their Eclectic Romantic themed wedding had me swooning all day. Every little corner was filled with adorable decor that Amber tastefully put together. Also, her veil was BLUE. Yes a blue veil! That’s the first time I’ve ever seen a bride wear a blue veil and I was over the moon with it. Bonus points because she made it herself AND it had colorful ribbons hanging off of it. Ah! LOVE.

Aesthetically it was so much fun to photograph, but even better yet was hanging out with Amber and Ben. I had met Amber and Ben previously during their engagement session in Virginia City, and it got me pumped for their big day. Engagement sessions give us a better idea of how we’ll work together and by the time the wedding comes a long, it feels like we’re old friends. That’s what it felt like with Amber and Ben.

Future goals include a lot of self growth. Amber and Ben would like to minimize bad habits to maximize their life together so they are fully prepared to start a family together! Also they would love to travel some more. Ireland is on the bucket list!

One of their favorite moments was right after the ceremony. They took 15 minutes to themselves to soak in the fact that they were married and to “reflect on the cheerful faces of our families and friends.” A lot of guests had to travel to be present, so it was really cool that they made it to their wedding!
