Martis Camp Wedding | Sarah and Keith

Sarah and Keith, where do I even start?! They're stylish, well-traveled, successful by all definitions, and SO NICE. It's no surprise that their wedding reflected impeccable taste and effortless charm, just like them ;)

Enjoy a few of my favorite photos from their wedding day...

“Having all of my best friends getting ready and hanging out in the dressing rooms ahead of time was so fun.” - Sarah

“… it was amazing to get ready with my people by my side. “

“Hands down, my favorite moment of the day was reading our vows to one another privately before the ceremony -- it was nice to get the jitters (and some of the tears!) out of the way ahead of the ceremony. “

“Watching Keith cry before he even turned around on our first look also made my heart melt!”

Advice to future couples who are currently planning their wedding:

“Trust your gut! If there's a certain style you gravitate towards, find vendors who will share the vision with you and find creative ways to make it work.”

“…we really wanted a branchy Asian-inspired style flower design, and blooming branches weren't in season; many vendors told us it wasn't possible, but Annie immediately understood our vision and found ways to dress up bare branches to fit. Fun, personal touches are memorable for everyone and make your day SO special.”

“I really liked the way we incorporated our dads into the ceremony, rather than traditional toasts. Each was able to choose something special and meaningful to read (my dad did a bible verse that was in his wedding to my mom, and Keith's dad read Everything I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten in honor of his mom who was a teacher), which made our ceremony personal.”

“For the wedding, we wanted to accent the natural beauty of Tahoe. Sarah is part Japanese and Keith spent time growing up in Singapore, so we wanted the wedding to have some Asian-inspired decor elements. Good lighting, branchy flowers, and an elegant feel were all important to us. “ - Sarah & Keith

Another favorite moment was when Keith got to tee off after the wedding…”how cool, and so lucky somebody had left clubs!!”

“Fun, personal touches are memorable for everyone and make your day SO special. Our entire menu was designed after our favorite restaurants and ones that had special memories for us. “

Honeymoon or any future travel plans:

“We are lucky to have traveled to a lot of the more traditional honeymoon places, so wanted to do something really adventurous and different! Not a relaxing beach vacation, but we're really excited to explore a new continent together -- and hopefully see some amazing wildlife.”

Spoiler alert: they went to Antarctica

“Some of my favorite pieces came together last minute -- like having my sister paint our shoes or ordering AF1s for our wedding party.)”

Another favorite moment?

“Of course, the dance floor and the afterparty with espresso martinis flowing ;)” -S
