Valhalla Lake Tahoe Wedding | Anne Marie and Ethan

These two high school sweethearts swept us all away on their wedding day. It was filled with so much heartfelt emotion and forward style. I keep coming back to this gallery and finding new favorites. Here are some of my current favorites…

Do you have advice to couples who are planning their wedding?

“Truly only invite people that you WANT to be at your wedding - and we know that isn't an easy task. The biggest blessing in disguise was the venue had a maximum guest count and it really helped us decide who we wanted to be with us on our day. (Everyone says it but it really is true) the wedding goes by so quickly and you want to be spending that precious time with those who are most important to you.” - A & E

“I loved Anne Marie's entrance from the top of the balcony and then disappearing down the stairs - although I'd seen the dress before, seeing the veil and everything when she walked down the aisle was super special. The dance party at the end of the night was awesome with all our people was one of my

favorite moments.” - Ethan

“The venue was so beautiful we wanted that to shine so kept everything pretty understated and classic.”

Fun facts:

  • High school sweethearts who moved to Texas and Colorado!

  • We were both #9 in our sports (soccer and rugby).

  • Ethan and my MOH went to preschool together.

  • Ethan knew in high school he wanted to marry me.

Future goals?

“Continue adventuring and building a life we’re proud of! Moving to Colorado has been so fun and allowed for lots more hikes fishing and outdoor adventures.”

“Our parents speeches! All four of our parents spoke and each were so heartfelt I think it made the whole place emotional. We gave a lot of thought to our ceremony having Ethan's two uncles officiate, and we chose a few readings that we loved and that was awesome.” -Anne Marie

Two shooters is always a must ;)
