Emerald Bay Lake Tahoe Engagement Session

Vivian and Michael have been a breeze to work with, and I'm so happy that our paths crossed before their wedding day. Their adventure photoshoot was so much fun! We scrambled on rocks, hiked around, and took some photos. I personally loved hearing more about their story and seeing their interaction as a couple.

Their engagement session was scheduled during a very wild time for South Lake Tahoe and the surrounding areas. State Parks and National Forest started to close weeks before our scheduled date, due to the wildfires. We were unsure if our original location, Emerald Bay State Park, would be an option. We had a plan-b/c, but thankfully the state park lifted their mandatory closure just in time for Vivian and Micheals engagement session because sometimes things do work out :) Shout out to the staff at the California Filming Commission for approving our permit in time. You guys rock!

A little bit Vivian and Michael: "We have been together since January 2019 and met in San Francisco on a dating app. Our favorite hobby is traveling. We spent most of the lockdown during the pandemic in Lake Tahoe, where we DTR and became engaged!"

So how did Vivian and Michael meet? "We met on two different dating apps while living in San Francisco."

A couple of random facts about Vivian and Michael:

1. Michael met most of Vivian's friends on our 3rd date.

2. Our dads have the same first name: Al.

Favorite things to do in Tahoe:

"We love being out on our ski boat: surfing, swimming, and enjoying some cocktails. In the winter, we enjoy skiing on Northstar!"

Vivian and Michael are hoping to tie the knot in 2022, and I can't wait to third wheel it with them again! Let the final countdown begin!
