Each wedding I photograph becomes a lesson in life and love that I carry with me. Justin and Hailey's celebration was no exception. They embraced joy in a way I had never seen before. It permeated every fiber of their being, resulting in them waltzing throughout the day – quite literally dancing and spinning. Seriously, guys, it's tough to be THAT present. But we all felt it. During the ceremony, they took us on an emotional rollercoaster of laughs and happy tears. The planner and I were even crying alongside everyone else.

“Our friends call us the Camp Hosts because we're always organizing camping trips and are in charge of cooking over the open flame, bringing snacks in our backpacks to share, and inventing games to play while we hike or sit around the fire.”
“I loved the ceremony. My brother was our officiant and he fully shocked me with a perfect ceremony. It was beautiful, funny, heart warming and non traditional and fully encapsulated us as a couple so well. He had everyone sing "This Little Light of Mine" to honor our family who have passed, and it was so special. Also, we didn't share our vows ahead of time, and they turned out to be so well aligned. - Hailey
Advice to future couples who are currently planning their wedding:
“Don't be anxious about making everything perfect - as long as you trust your friends, family, and vendors, the small stuff you won't even remember. Just focus on you two!”
“I loved our first dance to Dancing in the Moonlight (the King Harvest version, a song we have been dancing to together our whole relationship). We were so zeroed in on just each other. Everyone else was just a blur. Looking back on the day, we got enough time with just the two of us, but everyone knew the dance floor was going to be wild, so I was nervous that we would feel in the moment like it was a feature performance. But no, it was just good ol' lovin.” - Justin
“We are looking forward to trying to go to all of the National Parks over our lifetime. We will continue to spruce up our hundred year old home and, one thing at a time, grow our family.”
The dance floor was also the best. Between the ribbon wands (provided by my mom's dear friend Nathalie) and Hot in Herre to start and end the dance floor was every single one of my dreams come true!!”
