The Coachman Hotel | Anniversary Pictures | Elsa Boscarello Photography

Kimberly & Andrew have been together since 2007 and they have two dogs (Ewok & Roof). They came to Tahoe to celebrate their 2nd wedding anniversary and instead of having Tahoe as the background she requested to have their pictures taken at The Coachman Hotel because she felt that represented them more. I mean..who doesn't love cozy cuddle sessions?!

I'm a sucker for any indoor session, so I was pretty stoked about this.

This is Ewok & Roof :)

Kimberly and Andrew can never say no to a game of bocce ball and in their free time they enjoy hands-on projects. They even made their own wedding invitations! Their currently remodeling their home office.

After a cuddle session in their room we proceeded to go to the coffee-shop/ bar area. Their easygoing energy and adorable chemistry made this shoot a breeze.

Now let's talk about this incredible space! The Coachman Hotel was a dream to shoot in. One of their team members (Hi Ashley) mentioned the following regarding the aesthetic: "The Coachman Hotel is dedicated to sustainability while supporting American artisans. Their team handpicked everything in the space both for functionality/durability, but also based off of the makers."

Their Launch press Release provided more information regarding the space (if you haven't fallen in love with it yet these facts might make you want to book a night ASAP). The following is quoted from the release sent so generously from Alison Seibert from The James Collective: "Located in South Lake Tahoe, California, the Coachman Hotel offers design-minded travelers a new motel experience that embraces modern style and convenience while celebrating escapes to nature near the base of Heavenly Mountain and Gondola. Embracing sustainable style and modern convinces while returning to the simplicity of another era by the way of a renovated 1960's motel, the Coachman serves as both a elevated retreat in as well as a gateway to the wild. The Coachman Hotel's 42 guest rooms offer adventures approachable and comfortable features including the finest beds and Frette linens, dedicated 'wet' area for outdoor equipment, an innovative text messaging platform in place of telephones, Apple TVs, and thoughtful minibar items. The guestrooms and adaptable meeting spaces center around the shared fiercest and gathering spaces which enhance discerning travelers' stays and create a convivial sense of community."- Coachman Hotel Launch Press
