Reno, NV | Anniversary Session | Elsa Boscarello Photography

These two adorable humans celebrated their one year wedding anniversary (and their 10 year anniversary together) in their new home: Reno, NV.  We walked around the Keystone Canyon Trail hill in Reno. There have been recent improvements to the path which make it more attractive for photographs like this. The best time to check it out is between March and November. This trail is perfect for hiking, running, and mountain biking! The total length is 3.4 miles, so if you're looking for a moderate 1.5-2 hour hike, this would be perfect for you and your family!

I'm so grateful they chose me to photograph this exciting chapter in their lives. Nancy found me through Instagram! It's great to have a social platform where you can connect with laid-back couples like these. There are a few facts about these two that will make you fall in love with them! First of all... They met when Michael became Nancy's personal trainer. They have formed a slightly obsessive love of pandas, and love to spend time feeding ducks at the pond, even when Nancy gets scared of the ducks coming too close! Their favorite thing to do as a couple is to share a meal together while enjoying their favorite TV shows and movies.

Enjoy their photos below and heart it if you love them.

We began their session at a local Reno pond (pictures not shown here), and we proceeded to photograph their love at Keystone Canyon. The hills and urban aesthetic really helped capture their personalities and new home to which she just moved to from Phoenix. Nancy described her preferred aesthetic as romantic, dreamy, and whimsical.

Ok. Let's talk about her STUNNING outfit choices because they are perfection, and I'm sure everyone is wondering where she got them from! They're both from Cleo and Clementine's Etsy shop. The white whimsical outfit is a corset/fitted skirt combo that used some of her wedding lace and can be worn under her wedding tulle skirt as well (scroll up to see this dress again). Her original wedding dress was shortened and dyed blush. Nancy's flower crown was created by the talented Mignon from Vintage Pink Events. Her request was that it be blush/white and whimsical. Mignon definitely performed on this, and she drove all the way from Sacramento, CA to deliver the crown! How cool is she?!

If you have any must have restaurant recommendations or must do Reno/Tahoe activities don't hesitate on leaving a note for them in the comments. I'm sure they would appreciate it!

Michael and Nancy, welcome to your new home and thank you for choosing me to document this chapter in your life!
