Chic Vibes and Lakeside Love at Edgewood

Izzy and Taylor met while filming Top Chef, and what started with one curious question quickly turned into a love story that would span from set life to a lakeside ceremony at Edgewood Tahoe.

Fun fact: Izzy is a talent producer and Taylor has worked on shows like Summer House. As a proud Giggly Squad fan, I did not ask about Paige Desorbo once, and that’s the self-control I didn’t know I had. Taylor flew back to Fiji right after the wedding to finish filming Love Island (currently breaking viewership records).

Both based in Los Angeles, Izzy works as a talent producer and Taylor as a TV producer, juggling fast-paced creative careers. And yet, their wedding day felt anything but hectic. It was a joyful, laid-back celebration filled with personal details, disco balls, and the kind of warmth that makes you want to stay and dance all night.

The couple’s vision? A chic garden party with fresh florals, great food, and a packed dance floor. “I just want it to feel elevated and fun,” Izzy said. And it absolutely was.

Guests were welcomed to the stunning lakefront venue with cocktails and sweeping views.

After the ceremony, the vibe shifted into full celebration mode. Guests mingled, laughed, and toasted with champagne under the Tahoe sun.

Izzy and Taylor slipped away for golden hour portraits, their chemistry electric and easy.

Her after-party dress was as fun as it was fabulous…glittering under the light and perfectly on theme with the disco balls above the dance floor.

Oh, and the cake? Vintage-inspired with a purple interior…a playful nod to their personality and style.

The day ended the way any great party should with everyone on the dance floor, and Izzy and Taylor closing it out to Sigala’s “I Came Here for Love.”

As a photographer, getting to document a wedding for two creative professionals like Izzy and Taylor was a treat. Every moment felt like a reflection of who they are….fun, fearless, and full of love.
