Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer | Tahoe Bleu Wave Wedding | Sofia and Arturo

“We’d like to thank everyone in our lives that support us. The people that were able to come, and the people that were understanding of our unconventional wedding. We had so much fun, it really was the best day ever. We’re so happy and eternally grateful for the way everything turned out. Tahoe Blue Wave and The Safari Rose worked together to make our charter for the ceremony perfect. Two great local companies to work with! Our chefs of the night from Tahoe Mountain Tapas were a dream to work with. They made everything so easy for us and the food was spectacular. We’re so glad we chose them! We’d also love to thank our amazing photographer Elsa that went above and beyond for us. She always made herself available when we needed her. As soon as she arrived she took care of us and our family to make sure our schedule for the day would work out. We felt so at ease on our day with her there… and now we also have amazing photos that will last a lifetime!” -Sofia and Arturo

If I can give Sofia and Arturo a rating out of five stars, I’d give them a million stars. They are what I call a unicorn of a couple :) Sofia and Arturo were one of my first couples of 2022, and they were just what I needed to start the new season. They welcomed me as if I were part of their family, and it created such a comfortable environment to photograph a little piece of their world. They were laid-back but intentional with the planning leading up to the day. They knew what they wanted and locked everything in so efficiently, making it an adventure-full day with a flexible timeline. A couple of highlights included an adventure pre-ceremony, and the ceremony was shared with the family on a cruise with Tahoe Bleu Wave. The day was filled with love, an epic adventure, fantastic food, and the warmest company. Sofia and Arturo, thank you for sharing this day with me, and enjoy a preview of your wedding day :) - Elsa Boscarello

A pre-ceremony adventure!

Advice to couples:

“Don’t let the groom get away with not helping make decisions. The beginning can be very overwhelming. Give your partner a list of things to take care of, it makes the planning process much easier to tackle when working as a team.”

We love to travel, we’ve been to 5 countries and 5 states in the 5 years we’ve known each other. We met in engineering school. Our love story started with USB flash drives…

The cruise was our favorite part of the wedding. We’re so glad we chose to do the first look earlier in the day. It allowed us to spend more time with each other and our family on the boat and enjoy the amazing view.

The Honeymoon:

We had a mini moon in Tahoe which included snowboarding (ouch!), ice skating, trying new restaurants and a spa day. We plan on doing a full honeymoon later on in the year.

The Ceremony

The end.
