High Camp and OVEC Wedding at Palisades Tahoe

One minute we’re 8,200 feet up, watching Aaron and Lynn promise forever. The next, we’re at The Dub, passing around giant red wax lips at the after-party. Somewhere in between there was plenty of cake and the most beautiful green drapery.

Start to finish, it was an iconic day. Enjoy a little preview.

We’re starting at the reception because it deserves that kind of attention. A modern fun aesthetic by the couple and their planner Nikki with Mountain Thyme Events

You’re not just arriving at a location, you’re ascending into it. The gondola ride alone sets the tone, carrying you up into panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada, where the air feels crisper, the light hits differently, and everything slows down in the best way.

Perched high above the valley, High Camp at Palisades Tahoe is one of those ceremony spots that instantly shifts the energy of a wedding day. It’s the kind of place that makes a big statement. Snow-capped peaks in the distance, endless sky above, and a ceremony deck that feels like it’s floating right on the edge of it all.

And just as much as the setting, Lynn carried the same beautiful aesthetic. She wore a structured gown with delicate texture, designed with a strapless silhouette and a wedding scarf to tie it all together.

A statement cake set against deep velvet drapes, creating the dreamiest contrast. It felt editorial, elevated, and just a little bit unexpected for a mountain wedding in the best way.
