Courtney and Chris celebrated their wedding at the breathtaking Valhalla Tahoe, a venue that perfectly blends rustic charm with Lake Tahoe’s natural beauty. Their day was filled with heartfelt moments, colorful florals, and a whole lot of joy surrounded by their closest family and friends.

For Chris, one of the most meaningful parts of the day was the first look and exchanging vows. A quiet, intimate time together before the excitement of the ceremony.

A favorite moment for Courtney, was standing with their loved ones during the ceremony, hearing their officiant include an audience affirmation that invited everyone to take part in the moment. “Exchanging our words and promises truly felt like the start of a new and exciting chapter,” she shared.

The celebration continued with fun, laughter, and even a spirited singalong to their final song, “Untouched” by The Veronicas, a perfect nod to Chris’s Australian roots.

Another highlight for the couple was sneaking away to the boathouse for photos, giving them a chance to soak in the day together against the dreamy Tahoe backdrop.

Working with the associate team was another highlight of their experience. Courtney shared, “It was incredible! A and S made us feel at ease immediately. They were communicative, creative, kind, and diligently working to capture all of the special moments. We are so grateful to them.”

When asked for advice to other couples, Courtney and Chris encourage finding small, intentional moments together during the day. “Take a moment at the top of the aisle, or during portraits, to just soak it all in.”

They also remind couples to stay true to themselves in their choices. It’s what makes the day feel authentic and unforgettable.
