one grand party at the california academy of sciences in SF
Fourteen years ago, these two went to senior prom at the California Academy of Sciences. They danced under the lights, wandered the museum, and later drove through the city to admire the skyline. And all these years later, they returned, not as teenagers, but as partners who’ve grown, travelled, and built a life together, to promise forever in the place where their story first took shape.
There was this effortless joy throughout the entire celebration. The kind that only happens when the right people are in the room. You could feel it from the moment guests arrived, to the dance floor that never slowed down. And of course… the surprise bridal party. They sent out an invite and told friends that anyone who wanted to be part of the wedding party could simply show up the morning of in their getting ready suite. Absolute chaos in the best way.
I love a dropped waist look so these dresses definitely got their own photoshoot

“Thank you to our friends and family for giving us the best night of our lives!”
My favorite weddings are quirky, unhinged, and overflowing with the kind of beautiful chaos where I don’t even know where to point my camera. Pair that energy with the feeling of being underwater, like we were literally inside an aquarium bowl at one point, and you get one of the most fun days I’ve ever had the joy of capturing.
